WANTED: A LIFETIME OF EXPERIENCE

Looking for a life changing opportunity? Stop by Global Village Coffee Shop on January 19th to learn more about improving the lives of others while gaining life-defining leadership experience. Returned Peace Corps Volunteers as well as the NC State Campus Recruiter will be available to discuss their Peace Corps experiences and answer questions about service and the application process. Since 1961, Peace Corps Volunteers have served in 77 countries. Volunteers live, learn, and work with a community overseas for 27 months, providing technical assistance in six program areas: education, youth and community development, health, business and information and communications technology, agriculture, and environment. Travel to and from country of service is paid for, and volunteers receive complete medical and dental care while serving. Upon completion of services, volunteers receive a readjustment allowance of $7,425 (pre-taxes).
