Associate Programmer Analyst Description

This is an entry-level computer programming position working with clinical trials data. Provides programming support for some or all of the following activities: creation and maintenance of programs used for data management, data validation, statistical report generation, and program validation. Communicates effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget.


Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field. Masters degree preferred
  • Or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages, one of which much be SAS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation
